What is Khet Sathi?
Khet Sathi is an AI-powered farming application designed to help Indian farmers make better decisions throughout the crop-growing cycle. Farmers can use Khet Sathi to identify crop diseases from images, understand weather conditions, optimize irrigation, receive fertilizer recommendations, predict harvests and track farm activities. Signing in with Google securely saves your farm data and makes it available across devices.
How Khet Sathi uses your data
Khet Sathi is developed and operated by Soumya Ranjan Sahu. This page is public — no login is required to read it.
Why we ask you to sign in with Google
Signing in with Google creates your Khet Sathi account so your farm profile, scan history, crop records and finance entries are saved securely and stay available on every device you use.
What Google data we request
Only your basic Google profile (name, profile photo) and email address. We use them to identify your account, restore your data after reinstall, and reply to support requests. We never request access to Gmail, Drive, Contacts or any other Google service.
What farm data we store
Leaf photos you choose to scan, crop and field details, weather location (approximate), and the income/expense entries you enter. This data is used to generate diagnoses, advice and reports for you — it is not sold or used for advertising.
AI processing
Disease detection runs on-device. When you request an online explanation, your question and diagnosis context are sent to our backend and to our third-party AI provider (currently Groq) to generate the answer.
Your control
You can request deletion of your account and all associated data at any time from inside the app or through our data deletion page. We do not require an account to browse this website.
